I'm new to growing and decided I would try this year with some bag seeds I have. What exactly do you have to do to pollinate your Mj plant? Do you need to grow male and female plants next to each other and will nature take care of itself? I only have 1 seed and I'm hoping it will turn out to be female... will this work?

just got around to reading this

you need a male anf a female
if your lucky,,,,that one seed could be a female and you will get even luckyer to grow it and get a nice pile of sensi buds,,

but you need more seed
and
males have the pollen,(think of it as sperm)
and female need it to FERTILIZE lil microscopic eggs shall we say

when you pollinate a female plant with male pollen its called "breeding", the female plant will produce seeds with the same genetics as the female and male plant, this is how you make new strains. If you want to breed, get some more experience! If you just want some budz to smoke on, all you need is a Female plant, no pollenation is needed to bud, just proper light, nutrients, and water.

even if it aint female still good for canibuter and if its a hih thc variatie, it may be just as good as other variaties females!!!
