Legalizing pot no good
I don't know, its probably just me that feels about as strognly about this cuz my friends agree but still think it should be legal. I feel like legalizing pot woudl take a lot of the fun out of it, for me anyway. I never smoke alone. I was smoke with people and then we go into risky public situations but manage to keep our cool. I think the illegalness of it make sit more of an adventure for me. Its like, it makes me more disconnected from the rest of the world and really makes the trip exciting for me. Like I have a secret that everyone else wants to know or something. Whatever, basically, I dont care if its legalized or not, I mean, if its legal, wonderful, easier and cheaper, but I like it illegal too. Anyone else feel like tthis or am I jsut a loser? lol

No ur not a loser, I used to feel like then (when I did smoke), but I think I would rather have it legalized or that the pigs would stop worrying about pot.

I think cancer patients getting thrown in jail for their medicine and families torn apart from a severe misunderstanding of the drug are more important than any thrill I might get out of doing something illegal. This War on Drugs is really horrendous and atrocious if you look at the battlefields where it is being fought. As far as I am concerned, I am entitled to do whatever I want with my own body as long as I don't hurt others, and any restriction on that entitlement is a breach of my liberties, and I will do what I can to fight against it.

no i feel the same way. however i think there are many more benefits of it being legal than illegal but some of the benefits of it being illegal (and disappointments of it being legal) are:
1. easier to find
2. more accepted with parents and stuff
3. if it were legal then there would probably be age restrictions and restrictions on use in public areas and stuff
4. more exciting (going on adventures.. etc.)
5. higher demand=higher prices. if it were legal a lot more people would be smoking it and the prices would rise.
6. MORE people would probably do it while driving which is a dumb thing to do.
7. there wouldn't be stoner cliques because it'd become like alcohol and people would start smoking to hang out instead of hanging out to smoke. idk if that makes sense but you might understand.
8. definately wouldn't be as exciting. it would probably take away from the high if it were legal. The first study for a man who wants to be a poet is the knowledge of his entire self. He searches his soul, he inspects it, he tests it, he learns it. As soon as he knows it, he cultivates it. But the soul has to be made monstrous. Imagine a man planting and cultivating warts on his face.

i wouldnt say youy are a loser .. you just have a differant veiw on it than most others.. and id be willing to bet that after a few months in jail for a possesion charge you would never think illegal weed is a good idea again .. i dont think most of us smoke because its cool or because we are trying to make a statment i started smoking weed because it made me feel happy and because food tastes better and music sounds better when you are high .. now i smoke daily because it helps give me relief from the aches and pains of getting old... that and it helps me deal with people that i would normaly loose my temper with at work

I feel you. I mena,a fter I retire, I am sure I would like to start smoking again, but I'm not sure if I'll will have the motivation or desire due to alck of memory of what it was like. I just dont really get attached to shit long term. Its like my mom says, she never wnats to buy me shit because she knows ill use it for 15 minutes then get bored wiht it no matter how awesome it is or had bad i want it. however, at this point in my life, i loves me some cannibus.

Well, this problem only really affects the US, cause in other parts of the world we can smoke any way we want, wherever we want and there's no problem.
I've walked in downtown Montreal smoking a joint while passing some cops and nothing ever happened. When you go for a walk downtown, every once in a while you get a whiff of bud smoke... Yummy!
