Well thanks' guys I appreciate the information,I had the 1000w hps about 18 or 19 inch's away from top of plants with a big ass fan blowing through the area were the heat would meat the canopy,I noticed a difference in the plants,more of a drying out look if you know what I am saying,so I moved the lights up at about 24 inch's and will keep checking every now and then throughout the day to see if the the drying out look changes,I was thinking that over a 2 foot distance may not be so good! for the lumens,reaching the canopy of green,but it could be me just being parnoid lol....I guess all I can do is exsperiment in hopes of finding a perfect distance both for heat and lumens.......Once again thanks for the information people

I know a 1000w hps can do up to 10 full mature plants at a time,with a distance of about 2 feet above the plants,but what about the sea of green? closer further away? any help would be appreciated..thank's Rating: 5
