Just wondering, how long does everyone hold the smoke in for? Do you guys just breath in and let it out, or do you try to show off and hold forever?

I usually try to show off by taking big hits and clearing them. When I'm by myself though I just hold in for as long as I feel like, usually like 4-6 secs.

Sure there is. If you blow it out right away, less THC has a chance to penetrate into your bloodstream. I try to hold about 5-10 seconds.

Blow it out after you suck it down. I had this discussion with a med student friend once; he said that practically all of the thc is used, probably over 95%. If you hold it in, he says, you're not getting higher - you're sick from oxygen deprevaton. I have to get a fucking vaporizer, 'cause this shit is killing my lungs.

yeah thc is absorbed by the lungs in the first 7 seconds and it usually takes about 5 to 10 to take a good hit anyway

I dont really care if holding it in gets me a little bit higher, ill just smoke more. Its fucking up my lungs as it is I dont like doing more damage than i have to.

i try and hold huge hits for as long as possible, otherwise it's always just a few seconds.
