Can Grinding Enhance Potentcy

When I grind dank for about 10 seconds in a coffee grinder, it gets all fluffy and smells fantastic. My question is, why do my hits feel more potent? Is this because that flame just eats through the sweetness? Am I burning more THC? Need help, guys!

Its probably because your weed is now airated (fluffy) and so it burns alot quicker and there is more heat and so you are getting more heat and prob a little more THC.

I agree. The texture and the extra smell, as well as the fact that it will burn faster is because the substance has much more surface area and much more air can get through it. You're not burning more THC, you're probably burning less since some of the THC crystals will fall off your buds in the grinding process. That is, unless you collect it and make kief.

what is kief?

Kief is the little THC crystals you see on the side of buds. It's almost completely made out of THC, so if you can collect the crystals together and smoke them you get really messed up. Some people grind their bud with a special grinder that has a crystal collector in it just so they can have kief every now and then.
