Conspiracy Theories: For stoners only?

I've noticed a subtle increase in both the frequency and paranoia-factor of pisshead's posts. At first I found the articles enlightening but now they simply conjure up an image of some paranoid schizophrenic sitting at his computer shaking and jumping at the slightest sound.

Are other political forums on non-cannabis sites like this (ie. the same kinda stories from the same sources)? The increasing extremities of the left-wing propoganda (come on, what else is it?) have got me thinking: Is there REALLY this much deception in modern politics (ie. deliberate attacks set up by politicians for financial gain) or are we just a group of paranoid potheads believing everything we read on Infowars, etc so we can feel the superior intellect amongst those that believe otherwise?

I'm calling out the liberal posts simply because Republicans need to rely on posting a positive story about Bush once every blue moon for kudos. They don't seem to scrounge for shit like the left do. Know what I mean?

the topic was based around the fact that "conspiracy theorist" = "liberal"...liberal this...left wing that...

i'm not a liberal. just because i don't like george bush doesn't make me a liberal. you're like the person that thinks i'm conservative because i don't like bill clinton either...

if by the same sources you mean library of congress, congressional websites, government websites, newspapers from around the country and world, newswires like ap, reuters and haraatz, executive orders, legislation, interviews with congressman and whistleblowers...it goes on and on and on the sources i've cited...anyone can search and see that.

you post and say bullshit. even though it's being covered mainstream now that these kinds of drills took place as early as months ago. is that a conspiracy theory too? it's not a conspiracy theory that drills of planes hitting buildings in NYC were taking place exactly as planes happened to be hitting buildings in NYC and then people had to suffer as each administration official declared that no one had any idea somethign like that could happen. within a short period of time it was...did bin laden do it? hours later...we think bin laden did it...the next day, yep, bin laden did it. bin laden has impeccable timing. what are the odds?

we need to create nationwide tattletale squads and militarize the police to keep us safe...and while we're at it, let's psychologically test everyone in the country...including children. the government loves us.

I think i have an idea. I know it sounds more like the paranoid thing but i dont think so. Pisshead isnt a conspiracy theorist. He'd be more a sensationalist if anything. I say that because lets just stop this infowars.com bullshit.
infowars.com or prisonplanet.tv or whatever alex jones puts his credibility behind isnt some server randomly spitting out ideas. ive clicked on many a link that didnt go into alex commentary but rather was just the via link used to move from one website to a news source...and no im not talking about a greg palast blog.

so let's stop with the bullshit saying that infowars is a conspiracy theorist haven. i dont see too many theories that use credible de-classified documents or interviews with actual top-level members of government. and if the government is so innocent i guess that's why they always refuse to be direct with any pertinent questions that fuel conspiracy theories. so if we want answers and dont want bullshit then it's the government that should provide at least accuracies.

And good luck with that. it's one website of dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens that i try to check out as often as i can. i have other things to do, but i like knowing what's happening to the world and the country.

right now the republic is in danger, but people care to know more about football and gardening or their job or jonn kerry versus his skull and bones cousin george w. bush...society is in a freefall right now, humanity is being flushed down the drain.

I didn't call you a liberal (check), I know what you categorise yourself as already but you post the anti-Bush material of which I was referring to. I don't even know anything about Bill Clinton , your confusing me there (ooh, this fuels my interest ).

Start again and try not to automatically assume i'm putting you down, it's not that hard.

Put simply, a self proclaimed pothead (ie, you or XTC or anyone else) posts thread after thread of crazy theories on a cannabis website. What are the chances it's going to be true? It's not a rhetorical question. The poster doesn't know for sure themselves (they're just posting the article) but they agree with it anyway.

To me, it does sound like bullshit, at least now it does. Countless whacky theories posted over and over, the shock value degrades after a while.
