hey guys...i got that digital cam i said i was gonna get so i wanted to show you pix...my question is this...the buds are quite small for there age i would think...they are getting nice and round and pretty frosty, im at 43 days flowering today and i just would have thought that the buds would be bigger on them by now....does a but get extremely fat in the last 2 weeks of life or what ???? anyway hollar back at me...ive started to feel as if ill get nowhere near what i had hoped for witch was around 3 zones a plant give or take....

The buds will really start to swell in the final 30 days of flower. They will almost double in size each week for the final weeks.

I just got back from a week away and i couldnt beleive me own eyes.

The buds are twice the size as when I left and much taller and fatter.

I will post pics 2moro..too late and tired now.

Let me know about your lights and you might wanna try some superthrive...

43 days of flower should have bigger buds....

I suspect light issues.

You should be looking for new flower pods.

Those buds are kinda thin and airy....

WHat kinda light are you flowering under???? HPS???

My first thought also was a light issue. When the ignitor went out on my ballast it took a few days to get a replacement. The plants were going really well, then they just seemed to stop growing. The buds were small like you have. At 43 days those should be bigger.

Only the trichomes will tell you when to harvest PPP. You canâ??t use calendar every plant is just a bit different. You do understand it takes about a week to 10-days for the plant to switch from vegetation cycle to flower cycle. Thatâ??s why you donâ??t start using flower nutrients in the first week of changing the lights to 12/12. The large node spacing is from not enough light penetrating the canopy. Be patience and it will catch up the buds will fill in and grow nugs for you. The fan leaves do not look that big so the temperature must be under control now, good job.

If you're going to use a calander PPP, you're going to be missing some bud or your bud wont turn out to be the best quality. Every plant is different and needs different shit wich is always a bitch becuase you have to buy the right shit or you got no hope in growing.

everyone thanks for your replys....Zandor ...yes i am aware on the 10 day delay from switching and followed up on the not changing nutes right off, i was only growing by days that way i had some sort or way to help know when they will be done is all...just keeping up with there ages that way it would be easy to tell when they are close....ive noticed the very first start of the color change in there hairs so i didnt figure it be long....maybe i was just being noid but i thought the buds would have been much bigger is all....i couldnt afford an hps for this grow so im using a 400 w mh for now.....gonna try to get a 250 w hps from www.insidesun.com i wont be able to grow as may plants as i did this time around...but atleast ill have the correct spectrum for huge thick dense buds.....how many plants would u guys say would grow nicely under a 250 watter ? 250hps, you could run 3 atleast like I said earlier some where on this forum. Im running 2 mothers and a clone under a 250hps watt light and the mother I am about to start the 12/12 cycle on, her stem is about 1cm diameter. If you had a 250w hps and a 120watt light and ran them together in a room, your buds should turn out to be bigger depending on the density of the room and such and if you have a fan going on the plants to keep them cooled.

Vegging under the MH only is why your buds are the way they are.

Insidesun.com is a good place to get an hps from.

Get an HPS and you wont have the same bud problem next time.

Though your yeild will be small this go around, I suspect the smoke to be relatively potent from all the UV rays MH emits.

You wont be dissapointed in the quality of the stone
