Shrooms & Alcohol

I will be doing shrooms for the 1st time this week. I know there are alot of forums on here about shrooms, but i dont think anyone answered the question of if you could drink alcohol while on them, or if it will make you have a bad trip or something. I heard that its not good to drink while trippin but i dont know if thats true or not.

Here is one person's experience with P. Cubensis mushrooms and alcohol that I found on Erowid.org. Didn't sound all too pleasant to me, that's for sure.

Yea but he drank a entire bottle of cheap vodka. If you slammed a bottle of cheap vodka without mushies you'd probably get wasted and eventually start spinning, pass out and throw up at sometime while you have all that alcohol in your system. Sounds to me like having way too much to drink and tripping at the same time, of course its going to be for a shitty time. If you had a couple beers it probably woulden't be that bad, if you start taking shots it is a lot easy to have too much liquor.

mushrooms are too much for me by themselves as they are anyway. I don't need to be trippinf 6-8 hours straight, fucking "ee", too long.

Both times I smoked about a half hour before, sometime during the trip I don't even know when, and then as I was coming down.

I drank an entire bottle of apple pucker one of the times as well, and basically it was like I didn't feel anything (its not much alcohol anyways though).

i wouldn't drink and trip.. i figure it just wouldnt let you appreciate the mushrooms as much.

Smoking weed whilst on shrooms really worked for me It just didn't make me tired just helped to keep me chilled out. I don't see why a few beers would do you any harm but stay away from spirits.

drinking + shrooms = another perfect mix.
like they where ment to go hand in hand. The crazy fool from drinking now get's the visuals aswell just imagine being drunk yeah with visuals do i need to say more. you;; be laughing at the hallucinations, drink can actualy slightly over power the shrooms it's well good and id recamend it just dont be stupid drink like u usualy do then take em

Personally enjoy smoking a bowl on the come-up, and then another on the comedown, with a beer or 2 to wash it down with. Never had any during the actual peak of the trip, though...
