what is the latest you can clone?

â??pool noodlesâ?ť you got me on this one. The idea is to be waterproof and have a hold small enough to hold the cutting with out falling through. You need a slice in ½ of the plug too to get the rooted clone out. I have not tried to root cuttings in the manor you are talking about. I hang the roots in the air under the lid and they are hit with a spray of water. I would think what you are describing will not have a very high success rate to start a clone from. Once the roots are established then that would work but with out roots first it may be too stressful on the clone and it will just dry out and die.

pool noodles are poly foam 6 foot long tubes used by people in swimming pools to just hangover and float...I saw a thread where a guy was using them in place of pots and medium...a mediumless grow he called it...anyway he used it exactly like you use your little plugs for clones...the difference being that the noodles are 3-4" wide...he slit up the side after he cut one down to 3" length...it immediately reminded me of your cloning method, only he was growing with it...latewood...I have to get my camera setup and working

You can grow pot and even clones I would guess 100 ways or more. Some people throw a bunch of cuttings in a glass and place it in a widow. In a few weeks they have a few showing roots, they call that success. I call it lucky. It's a matter of opinion and expectation of the outcome that vary.

Me: I'll stick with what I know works.

    Peace

your right Zandor the middle is too big for clones...by the way I have found some soft
rubber material 1" thick to use like you do in your cloner, cut them down and trimmed them to fit in holes I drilled with my largest paddle bit...I took a 8 gallon tub and cut 2 5" holes in the top; the round pieces I cut out is where I drilled my 1" holes...the rubber fits perfect...now I filled up the res and put 5" netpots in the lid withairstones attached to the bottom of the netpots...after foiling the round clone holders I set them in the netpots, they fit perfectly, now they are bubbling away and the bottom of the clones stick out in order to take advantage of the oxygen...I think this will work...
I wanted to use a sprinkler, but I haven't found one I can use, yet...later, latewood

what is the latest you can clone?

    : )
    ingredients
    1. WILT SPRAY,
    2. RAZOR BLADE,
    3. 6 - 4 foot flors,
    4. rock wool,
    5. cloning powder or gel whatever is cheaper

= 100% success - 406 rooted clones!!! every time. And some of these cuttings are pathetic.

most of the time the rockwool isn't even ph balanced for more than a few minutes... doesn't even matter... just soak for 10 minutes in ph - 5.0 ... water as needed with 6.0 - 6.5 ph and in 7 days you will have more plants then you know what to do with.

So putting seeds or clones in rockwool that was soaked a few minutes prior with 6.0 water is bad?
