No we won't be smoking pot in 50 years.

We will be inhaling THC vapors while we harvest hydroponic martian buds which will be processed into THC tablets for insertion into our prothsetic inhalers which will be attached to our chests which will also double as oxygen generators so we can breathe in space and in oxygen depleted hostile alien environments.
