    new grow about to begin!!!!!!

that's right, more or less i am about 3 weeks away from my second grow.....i decided to post my question over here in the hydro section of this forum as i am going to grow hydroponically this time......i got myself everything that i need this time.....my setup includes an NFT hydro system that can support up to 24 medium sized flowering plants.......anyway......my question is which strains to grow this time.....i mean, i have 8 different strains in total.....i want to have a garden with plants of tha same height even though it's somehow difficult to achieve that with different strains grown together......the strains i have are:

    1.northern lights (nirvana)
    2.papaya (nirvana)
    3.crystal (nirvana)
    4.babilonia (new hybrid,indica dom,italian breeder)
    5.super haze (dp)
    6.white lady (sativa seedbank)
    7.super skunk (nirvana)
    8.white widow (nirvana)

these seeds are all standard (10pack) so in my head i think that i will need to use around 40 seeds at a time hoping to end up with 24 females after 2-3 weeks of vegetation......
any ideas on which to grow together?cloning is not an option yet, hopefully in grow number 3,4 and 5

    1.northern lights (nirvana)

    5.super haze (dp)

They are not as picky for your first hydro. Height is not really the main point you should consider. Different plants require different nutrients. Keep that in mind too. You need plants that all finish in the same amount of time too don't forget.

thanx for the advice, that's what i had in mind as well even though i did not consider that different strains have different nutrition needs....having in my mind that when pH and EC are stabilised then everything is ok....i thought....well anyway my question still remains......which strains are good of the above for sea of green?
i picked indicas and sativas to have a variety of buds, highs and potencies....to be honest i was thinking to use 4-5 seeds from every strain i have....but this would propably be a not very good looking garden with plants of various heights....i would still be able to adjust the lights though(2x400hps).....the strains i picked, have similar times of finish depending of family (indica or sativa) ie Super Haze,White Lady appear to have a flowering time between 9-10 weeks while the other strains i have, they finish in 7-9 weeks......
really i feel a bit strange now because i did not take into account that different strains have different nutritive demands...i guess i can't change that now....ok.....made up my mind now.....i want big bud and quick finish for now.....indicas' time.....i will go with papaya, crystal, super skunk and northern lights....they seem to fill best the characteristics of a low height, fast finishing plant that produces loads....i am not sure if i manage to create a sea of green with an omogeneous canopy but then again how hard is it?
i will bend them to meet my needs (LST),after all i am looking after their well being, hahahahha......
another thing that's on my mind is the smell....for fresh air i will have the window of the room open and with ventilators i will circulate the fresh air , BUT, does an ioniser work good against the smell with a window open?

All you need to do is use a fan man.. Keep your window kind of shut/open but put some bounce sheats on the outskirts of the window. It will keep the smell from leaving your house as marijuana, it will smell like your doing laundry.

Active carbon scrubber is the best way to control odor.

Why don't you grow one kind of seed then pick out a nice lady to clone that way you have all the same plants?
