It's just a coincidence. Verse 9, Chapter 11 of the sacred text of numerology talks about this. It's on page 911. I have the 1911 edition, published on September 11 if you want to look it up.

I think all this number stuff is crap. The chances of 911 just popping up in a converstaion are astronomical, 911911911911:1 to be exact.
