can you smoke out of a humidifier?

I was wondering if doing something like placing herb in a humidifier with water could get you high if you were to breathe the mist in.


or if there is any other way using a humidifier? Wouldnt it basically be the same thing as a vaporizer?

No a humidfier works by blowing air across water increasing the humidity of the air you are breathing. A vaporizer is the equivilant of a steam machine for water. I can't think of any way off the top of my head to make a humidifier work to get you high.

... although... I have plans for using a humidifier in a smoking contraption. More later when I get everything worked out.
