Hey all, Zandor made the "Cloning 101", can a pro post a "Harvesting and Cureing 101"? That would deffinitly be a very good thing....There are a lot af newbies here and most dont know how to do either. Me personally dont know how to cure all that great and I know I could have better quality bud if it was harvested and cured right. What do ya say?-emtpockets

OK Ive been ignored so far But it Boost my post count and somonelse might find it usefull.....

    Step one..
when you have decided your Plants are ready Cut them down from the Base of each stem.
and Leave the Main stem to throw away..

    step two.
Hang them in a Dark cool Dry Room.(I use a Fan to circulate Air To lower the Chances Of humidity).
It will take arox 1 week for your Buds to be "pop corn Dry".
When The stems SNAP you Know Its time to Jar it...

    step three..
After you Have Manicured all the Non crystal leaf Place Buds in a Glass/Mason Jar.
    Not too tightly Packed.
You Have to Be certain its air tight and store the Jars in a cool DARK place.
Be sure to Open The Jars Once a Day to release the carbon monoxide build up.
and if you see any sweating in the Jars Be sure to Leave it open till the Moisture dissapears.then close it and stor it again..

The whole curing Process Takes about 4 weeks to acheive Noticable results...
you can leave it Longer But I havent noticed a Big difference from 4weeks+...

    Thats about it....

once the plant(s) is ready to harvest cut the colas off the main stalk and hang them to dry in a cool dark place.

next, you must trim the larger leaves off with a pair of sissors. i will do this after about 2-3 days of drying. after the trim it will dry out a bit faster, so i will usually wait untile the buds feel a bit crispy to the touch. maybe another day or two.

once the buds feel dry to the touch i will trim them off the larger stem, which should be able to snap when bent, and place the buds in a paper sack. roll the sack up like a lunch sack to help hold in a bit of the moisture, and leave tham in their for about 2-3 days gently rotating the buds once a day. when the buds are smokable, but not crumbly they are ready for the jars.
