Not to sure what tricomes are Please help

Im 37 days into flower and ive got a picture from kan man that shows when to harvest looks like it was from micrscope photo.But im not sure what tricomes are.I have white hairs in the bud area i thought those were trcomes someone help the retard guy please.It looks like some parts on the plant were the white hairs are there some turning amber color.Is theat good.

Correct a microscope (Radio Shack has pocket microscopes for a few dollars).
Trichomes look like little tiny crystals around the buds. Look closely at the small leafs sticking out of the buds and you should see thrichomes with the naked eye. A microscope (30X or more) will allow you to see the tiny clear, cloudy and amber trichome heads. The white hairs changing to red / amber will happen as the plant gets closer to being ready for harvest. You can try to harvest by red / amber hairs but checking the thrichomes with a microscope is the best way to get the final product you want.

N3OSS, that is a horrible idea, if you harvest as soon as you see amber hairs, your buds will most likely not be even close to full maturity, read a book and stop posting bad information
