Options for voice chat, possibly hosted offsite, are being considered and Ron is looking into it. On the other, hand, live video - even at low quality - is far too expensive both in terms of monetary cost and bandwidth issues. Fortunately, there are plenty of good video conferencing clients available, including Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Netmeeting, both of which are free to users. I don't see live video capability being integrated into the site anytime soon, though.
