I'd imagine the diarrhea, nausea and vomiting can be prevented, or at least mitigated, with pre-emptive doses of an antiemtic, like Dramamine, and an antidiarrheal, such as Immodium AD. Take these in the proper label-indicated dosage about one hour before ingesting the seeds.
