Ronald McDonald "The smiles are free!"
Sorry to post two threads if that is a crime here or soemthing
I was reading Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by TYom WOlfe, about all ofthe acid w/ ken kesey and the hippies, and they were talking about how they got all of the reporters at keseys house high by giving htem venison chili laced with LSD.
So i was thinking about doing the chili thing, but I didn't want to amke up oil. I was thinkiing I could add it to the meat.
See, my idea is chop up bud really tiny, and then take raw hamburgger meatand mix it in thoroughly. You could then cook the hamburger and add cook it and add it to the chili, or you could eat a friggin hamburger!
Is that possible, or is my head up my fat ass?joker121 Reviewed by joker121 on . Ronald McDonald "The smiles are free!" Chili Con Cannabis
Once again your cannabis chef has been rummaging about on a cold winters afternoon for some comfort food with a kick. I love the idea of doing a survey of my kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, freezer, and garden to see whatâ??s on hand and what new combinations can be created. So we come to an old favorite, chili.
Now some purists insist on no beans while others insist on no meat. Personally, I love both. "Chili Con Cannabis" has a two-legged kick. One kick is from spices (use to taste) and the other is from the decadent addition of fine cannabis butter to the bubbling pot (no pun intended).
Hereâ??s my latest batch:
2 15oz cans of premium black beans (drained)
2 15oz cans of black-eyed peas (drained)
2 15oz cans of dark red kidney beans (drained)
2 medium sized sweet onions chopped
8-12 ripe plum tomatoes chopped
1/3 cup dry red wine
1 1\2-2 pounds of chopped beef (stir-fry style)
1-2 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
1-2 tablespoons dried New Mexico chili flakes (the adventurous may add two drops of Daveâ??s Insanity Sauce)
2 caps (one teaspoon) liquid smoke
3 tablespoons Lea and Perrins
1 tablespoon salt and 1 of cracked black pepper
1-tablespoon garlic powder and 6-8 cloves of garlic for the stir-fry
** 3-4 large tablespoons high quality bud butter
Directions:
Place the beans in a large pot under low heat. When steam begins to rise add the spices, wine, liquid smoke, and Lea and Perrins.
After about 30 minutes to one hour (with occasional stirring), add the tomatoes and onions.
Stir-fry the beef in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil to which youâ??ve added 6-8 cloves of fresh garlic. Add the browned beef to the pot (the cooking one silly).
Do not overcook the beef. For texture sake avoid ground meat. Do not be a textual deviate!
Allow the chili to very slowly cook for 1-2 hours over low heat with stirring.
Add the bud butter no more than 30 minutes prior to serving. Blend the butter in.
Extras!!! Serve with corn chips or fresh sourdough bread. Sprinkle freshly grated cheddar cheese over the top.
Beverage: Unlike my other recipes that recommend this wine or that, chili is best with beer (Budweiser or my favorite Modelo Negra).

Bud Butter for chili recipe
Bud Butter and Trim Butter: Manicure and dry flowers and/or bud trimmings. Grind to a powder with an electric coffee grinder. Melt the unsalted dairy butter first in a crock pot set on low. Gradually add the trim or flower powder with constant stirring. Cook in crock pot covered on the lowest setting with frequent stirring for two to four hours. Before the dark green butter cools, pour through a cheese cloth and squeeze into plastic tubs. Once the butter cools you can cover the tubs and place them in the refrigerator to finish cooling.
Potency: Potency of butter can vary tremendously depending upon the strain and which portions of the plant are used. Adding four to six ounces of powdered bud trim to two pounds of dairy butter will produce extremely powerful butter. Adding 2-4 tablespoons of such butter to a recipe that serves 10 means that each portion is receiving approximately 1-3 grams of Cannabis. Cookies and brownies made with this butter can be even stronger. Most of the good cookie recipes call for as much as 16 tablespoons of butter to three dozen cookies. These cookies are strong. Although patient dose requirements for orally delivered Cannabis are 4-10X higher than when smoked, one can see a portion can be quite potent. Unlike smoked Cannabis, the effects of the butter will appear more slowly and have much longer duration.
Storage: Butter can be kept in the freezer in airtight containers. Butter kept in this fashion can last many months. One should frequently inspect the butter to insure mold has not spoiled it. If mold has developed or the butter has been exposed and become rancid then it is best to toss it. When in doubt, throw it out.

Tha recipe is cool, but do you think my hamburger idea would work? I guess I'm really psyched b/c the bud would look liek normal spices, and so I could slip in my special beef at church BBQ's and other such events. Plus, It'd jsut be cool to have a bud burger.

well, I'm not sure it would work. Notice how every pot recipe you see out there always consists of something with a lot of fat/oil? eg butter, cheeses, peanutbutter, etc. If you try it make sure you use the fattiest hamburger meat you can find since thc is fat soluable. Also, dunno, but cooking it on a fire/grill might be to hot.
