Hi all. Now i'm hoping to get a good response from this by this coming thursday. I am currently doing a report on 'the battle to leagalise cannabis' for my college radio station. It's due in this friday and i have had like... 4 months to get it done. The reason i haven't got it finished is because i did too much research on the bud... if you know what i mean. Well to tell the truth, my research started like 7 years ago .

I am in favor of legalization. As a criminal defense attorney, I am of the view that drug possession crimes are a useless waste of scarce resources. We should channel our criminal justice system to address serious issues of crime and punishment.

I could argue all day why it should be legal because it's not that bad for you, and bla bla bla. It comes down to this though. Any adult should be able to put anything in their body they want without any problem from authority. Why treat people like babies and try to protect them from themselves? People will do it anyway behind their parents' (government's) back so what is the point? Control, money, and a hell of a lot more the government has to gain. But if people wanted to stop being treated like children, the war on drugs would be over. That said, to quote Nick Hexum of 311:

the war on drugs may be well intentioned
but it falls fucking flat when you stop and mention
the over crowded prisons where a rapist gets paroled

I HAVE HAD GLAUCOMA FOR AT LEAST 24 YEARS AND WHEN I USED DR. PRESCRIBED MEDICINE (BETOPIC, TIMOPTIC, PROPILINE AND OTHERS INCLUDING LASER SURGRERY) IT DID NOT WORK WELL. THAT IS WHY I WAS PUT ON ONE AFTER ANOTHER. I HAVEN'T USED THE ABOVE MEDICINES IN YEARS.
I HAVE HAD DIABETES FOR 39 YEARS AND HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO EYE DAMAGE FROM DIABETIC RETINOPATHY. MY DOCTOR WHO TREATS ME FOR BOTH OF THESE TERRIBLE EYE DISEASES GAVE ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR CANNABIS BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IS WHAT SAVED MY EYESIGHT.
MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THESE RIP OFF COMPANIES LIKE HEMCY, WHO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU NOTHING. THEY FUCKED ME OUT OF $170.00

um.. that's what.. DRUG DEALERS are for? get urself a nice ounce for well, varying prices... $100-$170 i suppose.. arent there any places where u can buy medicinal from?
