In The UK, we use cardboard roaches so we dont get herb and baccy in our mouths, and resin coated lips. It also gives you something to hold onto for the duration of the joint, no godam roach clips to forget to bring to a sesh.

it also allows you to pack the joint tighter, by giving it a firm, non movable base.
