i'm pretty sure there isn't one person that HASN'T done that, but since you're new we won't rag on you atleast i won't. anyways there's a better way to do it. take crushed ice (the finer the better) and pour it in there covering the stem then put just enough water to cover the bottom of the stem by half an inch. that makes the smoke alot colder then just ice cubes in the bong.
