Are energy saving lamps any good?
what is the max height in the cupboard? if it is up to 4 ft then get a 250 hps unit and that's all you'll be needing as fas as it concerns lighting......if the height is lower then you have no other alternative than the cfl (compact fluoros).....you will need 2-4 units in that case and the total cost should be more than the cost of the 250 watt hps unit......

newgroweroldsmoker Reviewed by newgroweroldsmoker on . Are energy saving lamps any good? Hi everyone, I was told that energy saving lamps work just as well as fluorescent tubes but thought I should come and ask the experts before I set them all up. They say they are the equivalent of 150w, are warm white and produce 2700k. The length of the actual lamp part is 4 inches, I've bought 6 of them and am planning to put them in desk lamps in an indoor shelf setup. What do you guys think? Rating: 5
