Are your parents pretty strict? Some parents think that marijuana is the worst thing their kids can possibly do. I don't understand why, but they're out there. Luckily my parents were kind of in the hippy crowd when they were my age, so they would rather me smoke then drink. I had friends who had to hide their smoking like it was crack, some good hiding spots were in speakers, under the sink, coat pockets, one of my friends even took out the insides to a remote control and put his shit in there.
