venting my hood; will.....

Hello; if i vent my hood will it exhaust the room also? I was building a grow room and have a carbon filter and i got an air cooled hood and a 265 cfm blower.If i just run the blower from the light and vent it out of the box would it get the stale air out of the room too? I have an intake hole at the bottom of the room for fresh air to come in.

You'll have to remove the lens for that,and it'll act like a vacuum,drawing up dust and possibly some rouge pollen,the inside of your reflector will get funky,add another blower,and you wont have to worry about the drawbacks you might contend with,a small hit in the wallet now,but in the long&short run well worth it....bonbon
