DMT...curious about this goodie
Colorado River Toad, Bufo Alvarius, I think.
Dick Justice Reviewed by Dick Justice on . DMT...curious about this goodie so is DMT any fun? I hear it lasts less than an hour, but is very intense--short and intense much like salvia. How does it compare to other drugs, praticularly salvia? I don't mind so much seeing shit and have somewhat an altered mental state, as opposed to the total concious warping of salvia. any recommendations for use, like how much is a good first dose? So that the White Man could smoke.

So that the Indian could drink.

SWIAJ actually found this site as a result of a dream about DMT extraction.Tihkal states (pg 268) that the root bark of Illionois Bundleflower contain 25% DMT, however extraction attempts were dissappionting, to say the least. In desperation he googled the damn thing, which led him to erowid, which states the the DMT content as .25%, apparently Dr. Shulgins source (and he is clearly quoting someone else) omitted a decimal point. Erowid of course links to this board. The toads contain 5meo, not true DMT.

Yeah Colorado River Toad, Cane Toad, Bufo Alvarius, whatever you wanna call it. I think they said that bufotenin, the other chem in the venom, is also psychoactive, which would mean that a toad trip is different from a straight-up 5meO-DMT trip.

So you kill the toad in order to feel good for a couple hours?
If so, that's fucked up.

No you dont have to kill it, you just squeeze the glands behind its head or otherwise make it secrete its venom. You can keep the toad alive. I have heard of people smoking the toad skin, but toads shed their skin so again that's a non-lethal way (if it works).

2.5 grams of 5meo every six months is alot, got me thinking about getting a toad. Funny how bufotenin, which may or may not be phychedelic (tihkal says no, other sources disagree) has been illegal for years, yet 5meo is not. Yea, I know, analog laws.. Licking the toads might work if you took a MAOI, but who really wants to lick a toad?
