The Repo man!

How do you all feel about the repoman?Is it honest work or just a professinal car thief?Could you or have you done it?
I ask because i may have to go back to this line of work do to injury.I quit the buss bout 4 years ago do to danger & felt bad stealin peoples cars in the middle of night.
Let me tell you it's a rush like a drug when you are sitting in someones car in their driveway trying to pick on the igniton,or slamming it with 2lb sledge(kinda loud)Been locked inside a yard by some fool with a 12 gauge,while I was sitting in his driver seat.repoed a DA of L.A,did the same Reverend 3 times in 1 yr.followed some 2 1/2 hours to take there truck as soon as they get out.Had a cop make us give a car back cause he did'nt know the law lol. we got 75 cars in a month & rarley used a tow truck.We would drive around in white convertible Mustang 20 hours a day looking at lisence plates saying "is that our car?"Knocking on doors 3 a.m. asking folks if they wanted to get any personal property.One time we let this guy & helped him take the tires & rims off his truck at 3-4 a.m.

i used to do the same thing. i worked at a sleezy ass used car lot. and us salesman were basically responsible for doing the repos if we sold a car to some scumbag that didn't wanna pay his note. it was alot of fun... and like you said... a VERY big rush. i did enjoy it, but i also hated it sometimes....
almost got shot or chased down a few times...

No, I hate thiefs. I fucking hate them with a passion. As many people as I know do that shit on a daily basis, I do nothing, but look down upon them. If a mother fucker steals my car, I hope they die... bleed to fucking death.

When I was in college I worked as a Repo man for TransAmerica. The work was fine but we did get shot at a few times. We did not have a tow truck we had other methods. My nephew is a Repo man in San Diego but uses a tow truck and the money is good. He works nights mostly. Just watch your back unmeg but work is work.

we never used a tow truck at the car lot i worked for....though i have done some repos elsewhere with other people in tow trucks. anyhow, we had keys...BUT... most of the time, the key didn't fit like it was supposed to (dumb ass retard cutting the keys) so we had to resort to said "other methods". it was a fun job all in all. the feeling that you HAVE to get something done, no matter what...preferably without being caught in the process. however, my idiot brother in law seemed to get off and peeling out really loud and long right in front of their houses to let them know that he took their shit.


he's right... work is work. we all got bills to pay, kids to feed, etc...

yes,I work with my brother so my back is covered.now with the new hide-a-booms & wheel lifts its much safer.Hopefuly my buddy is gonna hook me up with a transport driver & security job in Hollywood.
most people spend there lifes avoid intense situations the repoman spends his life getting into intense situations. Or something like that lol
