Username smaller? Do you mean such as in posts next to one's avatar?
If so, that's an easy one for us to adjust.

Yes, that's what I mean. Those names were all smaller than usual for some reason (but it seems that's been fixed now).

First, close your browser and reload the page - some adjustments were made awhile ago. If still no good, if using MSIE click on View and be sure you're using default Medium Text Size.
There is no "simple" fix ... the font size problem in VBulletin is a deceptively difficult one to solve due to the nature and purpose of HTML.

Everything was just fine last night, but now the text is too small when I'm typing up a post.

Well, it's been an interesting adventure ... and after all that, the font sizes have been changed back to what they were before.
Many people couldn't get used to the change, and there were numerous glitches being reported by visitors and mods alike - it was getting to be like whack-a-mole ... solving one font size problem seem to create a bunch of others, and ultimately no reasonable solution could be found other than rolling the font changes back to before.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but there appears to be no simple way to solve the font size problem on this side. For folks seeking control over font size, please consider using Firefox.
