clipping buds early??
Nomadherbman: Wait till the glandular trichomes appear which are the tiny sticky little bulbs that are produced to catch the pollen from the male plants. NoosaHeads had it right when they suggested you have a little patience. I've been growing successfully for over ten years and have sampled leaf matter from my plants as they have gone through the growing process. You can actually feel the buzz get better and better as they mature. Even though I only used florescents on my last crop the buds were small but very sticky and sweet and had me out cold before Letterman came on.

clipping buds early??
i sampled on my first plant.. and i regret doin it :P that's why i haven't touched my plants this time around. test if you must.. but wait until it'll be worth the while.. 3-4 weeks flowering is fine.. you're right around the same stage as me...and i'm contemplating a sample.. so ...
test if you must :P just be smart about itAs we live...a life of ease. Everyone of us...has all we need. Sky of Blue...and Sea of Green. In our Yellow Submarine.

clipping buds early??
My ladies just started their 5th week of flowering this week and I had a little sample over the weekend. Let me tell you, this crop is going to be awsome, because it got me really hi and it as just a little bud from the bottom.
Good Luck

well they've been flowering for 3 weeks and a couple days. and i now see the glandular trichomes. though they are only on the main colas and i definatly am not touching thos.. i did try a little bud and it only gave me a little buzz, so im waiting tell the end. (bcbud is helping me out in the meantime). i regreted it also. i started thinking that what i just clippe off could have been a nice gram or 2 gram nug..(shakes head)... ya i've been smoking the leave in joints since 2 weeks into veg, and i notice the buzz getting better as it goes. i just smoke a leaf J and i have to say its a nice little mellow buzz, very relaxing. not to mention just the fact of rolling it and smoking it calms my cravings....
Don't you love letterman! it seems he just keeps getting funnier as he gets older
