Maybe just build a roof to protect them againt the rain.
Because you want plenty of fresh air circulating around them.
My sister is in england at the moment and she was telling me you guys have had some hot weather so keep em out in the Morning/afternoon sun as much as possible to help them grow at night....

im in australia and I grow outdoors were i live is subtropic so I cant really protect mine from the tropical rains but I have good soil so they still do fine.
