Does torturing your plants make them more potent?
Some friends of mine many years ago grew some plants outdoors and when they were mature maybe a month or so before harvest they stripped all the leaves, drove stakes in the stalks of some and tied down the others. They tied them down by tying twine just under the buds and bent the whole plant to the ground. One plant they stripped all the leaves from and clipped the buds leaving the stalk in the ground. Two weeks later they went back it was covered with little snow white buds. The smoke was excellent! Just wasn't much of it!

That's ok I enjoyed the laugh....
No stress (torture) will turn good plants into hermie's. Because of what they did is why there was not very much smoke in the end. The quality was from the genetics and nothing they did. Look at my gallery and see what stress free growing can do.
You don't clip off the fan leaves; the plant uses them to control internal temperature of the fluid in the plant.

It may be a sativa of some type. It's really hard to tell this early but that is my guess. Is that Miracle grow soil you are using?

Thanks for the info Zandor.
Yes it is Miracle gro. I use that for everything I grow.
Is that o.k.? Or does it need something else when I
transplant?

Miracle grow is not meant for short cycle resin producing plants is all. Most people who use it will have many problems in the long run. There are many who swear by it but I write them off as very lucky or they just donā??t understand how much better they can grow with proper equipment and good soil or Hydroponics.
Ocean Forest Potting Soil is good and Sunshine #1 mixed with Perlite 50/50 or even 60% Perlite 40% soil mix.
