could you imagine just walking down the street one day...stoned out of your mind... just generally enjoying the day and all....
then, out of nowhere...this giant barrel comes out of the clouds and starts taking shots at your ass. POW POW POW POW POW POW POW. all of a sudden it's like fucking NAM or something and you're running scared for your life... then, some enormous mother fucker comes out and he's got this big fucking magnifying glass holding it over your head until the sun finally fries you like a god damned chicken nugget. oh, and THEN... some guy decides, hey.. this would be cool....
and he whips out his blimp sized penis and douses you in urine trying to drown you. (my personal favorite for insect torture) anyway...that would be crazy shit, right?
btw, i'm not an animal rights activist or anything like that...that's not the point to my story.....

Mister Felon, if you choose to carry that's your choice. I have drawn down on people and thank god I did not have to shoot them. I am not going to put myself in that situation again though. I don't get into bar brawls and I am pretty good at avoiding situations like that so I have no need to carry a sidearm. Pepper spray works just fine for me. I am not against you carrying, but then again I don't know why you are a felon. I'm an NRA member and pro-gun activist, so I am not against using a firearm for defense. Why people choose to arm themselves or not is a personal matter. I choose a less lethal choice though. Oh and 3sheets, yeah that did piss me off a bit. I am against killing for entertainment. Yeah it may just be a frog to you, but I see it as a life that was wasted for no reason other than a laugh.

I am the only one of my little group that made it to "retirement" without a long jail term or getting killed.
It was either luck or god's grace who knows?!?!
Many times the situation where you would need a firearm the most cannot be avioded ;example
A texas legislator was eating dinner with her family, gunmen entered the diner and started to execute poeple in cold blood. While this woman had the right to carry she was not allowed to bring it into the diner. The law said she must leave it in her car, that night she lost her father and mother becuase she followed the law, she did nothing to put her self in danger execept by her choice of where she ate!!
I will never be caught without a firearm within arms reach, I have seen too much to stand by and let others(police) protect me!
Having said that I do respect others right to not carry and that is ok, it will only take one person like me to stop the REAL felons out there and protect the others (non gun owners)

Very true! I forgot to mention that I live in Maryland and am always being stopped by cops. We do have carry laws here in MD, but you pretty much have to know the pope to get one. It is very very restricted unfortunately. It would be nice to have my AR-15 in the trunk of my car just incase it is ever needed. But in my area, I seem to be more threatened by the police than by criminals. Crime is pretty low in my area and bored cops are everywhere. I have only had to pull out pepperspray twice in 4 years, and I didn't even get to spray it.
