I saw that and my info comes from the NRA. I do believe in a well arm citezen. 2 reasons First to help control crime, rape murder and assualt is stopped instantly with a gun.
second reason that criminals dont follow gun laws, leaving the average joe helpless, gangbangers and organized crime love gun laws, they know then ONLY the police have guns. and the police only show after AFTER the crime.
The other reason for the people to have guns is to keep the government in check. Only a government that fears its populace will be reasonable. Manners in the US took a big decline when carry concled laws went into effect. Crime has climb in big numbers since gun onwership has gone down.

Honestly, your best choice might be to just stay clear of the park. It would feel very nice to fuck up some guys that were pissing you off, but revenge is a very powerful thing. They would probably come back after you with as many guys and weapons as it would take, and beat you senseless. At least thats what would happen where I live. Its hard taking shit from guys you dont like, so I would just say avoid the area, unless you want to walk around with 20 friends with bats whenever you leave your house.

Buy a Blank Firing Gun, I have a Desert Eagle in 8mm blank, which is loud as a bastard. I also have an air rifle (most powerful it can be without a licence - 12ft/lbs) and a Beretta 92FS (nickel) which is also rather powerful
I suggest just pulling a blank firing gun, as they would shit themselves when you pointed it at them, and as they're running away, fire a few rounds at them, hopefully they won't fuck with you again
btw, i wouldn't use any of my guns to hurt someone (let alone take it out of the house/property) but if you're lucky, you might pull it off good luck

That's about the worst advice I've ever read! What would you do if you pulled a blank firing gun out and someone else pulled a real gun out??? Quickly explain that it's not a real gun and appologize?? The only time you ever pull a firearm on someone is with the intention of using it on them, not to scare them. Pepperspray is serious!!! People usually assume that mace or CS is the same as pepperspray. It is NOT. It is highly effective and stops people very fast! I'm sure there are ways to get a hold of it in the UK. If not, email me.
