In July 1977, Marley was found to have malignant melanoma in a football wound on his right hallux (big toe). Marley refused amputation, citing worries that the operation would affect his dancing, as well as the Rastafarian belief that the body must be "whole"

Aside from this,
Imagine the world we'd have today if we all followed the easy going ways of Bob. Rather than building weapons or chemical death, we'd be supporting life and enjoyment, respect for all.
Marley is one of those people you'd want to go back in time to hug.
