Melonoma(sp?) to be exact. And it's kind of interesting, Melonoma is often seen in Europeans more..Bob's father was a white and english. That's another thing, Bob Marley is just as much white as he is black (give or take the mother's dominant genes) but other than that, he's 50 - 50. I always get weird looks and snickers from black people when i wear my bob marley shirt. It's about the music people. Goddamn.

Yep..not a well known fact that Bob Marley was half white..like you said..his father was white and British.
They originally thought the melanoma on his toe was an injury from playing soccer but in fact it was cancer which spread throughout his body.
Speaking not-well-known facts, (totally un-related to Bob Marley)
Robert Deniro is actually more irish than italian. His mother was of irish ancestry and his father was half italian and half irish..he ended up with an italian last name but he's %75 irish. Weird.

You know, in a sense, im glad he went out like he did. If he hadnt, the world wouldnt have seen him for as wiea person as he is taken for. Maybe he wanted it to be like that. I know he refused to let the doctors operate on his toe that was malignant, said it would make him unbalanced on stage. Thats strong willed for ya.

Yeah I was saying earlier to some people that the type of person he was, he wouldnt've wanted to live any longer than he did probably. He knew his time had come, he did what he was made to do and it was his time to go. His music and identity wouldn't be as prolific had he survived to this day. Same goes for Hendrix.

There's also lots of conspiracy theories about his death, something about the doctor that was treating him was an ex-nazi bla bla bla. I have a video documentary of his music/life. Haven't seen it in a few years, but maybe its time to dig it out and give it another watch.

Yeah I have the DVD "Rebel Music". It's a documentary about him, it's cool.
It depends on what area you're in, but yes I do get weird looks from some black people when I wear a Bob Marley or Jimi Hendrix shirt. Most of the black people who snicker don't even listen to either of them. When they snicker or laugh, I just smile at them and walk on. There's no sense in making a big deal about it, they're the ones with the problem.
