If you let a hermaphrodite polinate itself will the seeds be hermaphrodites or will the have the same 50/50 chance?

hermie seeds?
That's what i think:
An hermie cannot pollinate itself, it will pollinate another hermie or pure female. And the seeds will produce more hermies. I lost a good strain letting the hermies grow till the end, and the next crop was high hermies rated. I never succeed having a pure female anymore with that strain. So the best thing to do is to Kill all the hermies.

the seeds will not all be hermaphrodites.U will always get variation with seeds. Some may come out male some female.I sugest u use a litle female hormones on the new plants that u grow from those seeds this will help the prob of haveing hemaphrodites.

I honestly wouldn't mind hermies because in the end you will ALWAYS get bud instead of getting a male and having no bud. The only bad thing would be having to pick out the seeds which I don't mind. Goodluck.

hermie seeds?
IMHO
Da1KrayzieThug, hermie buds are not very interesting because they don't rippen so long as pure female buds, i prefer remove hermies.
luckydan, i think that all seeds are not going to give the same male/female ratio. For instance, i had once a gift from a not that good breeder, and under the same conditions ( light, PH, temp, ferts,...) i had from that batch lots of hermies and males. I recently bought expensive seeds from a famous breeder and i 'm having 100% females, and they are not female seeds.
Question, what's the name of the female hormones?

fhydro i under stand what you r saying i was just saying that you can get variation with seeds ,useing a good breeder is the way to go.Even thow you r geting 100% female r there any diferent caracteristics about the plants if they r the same vatiety. The only way to b 100% shore of geting the exact same plant that u have grown before is to take a cutting or clone as most people say.
The name of the female hormones i use is La Femme ,this will help if u r not shore if they are going to b all female ,will stop the hermies puting out as many male flowers, The active constituent of the La Femme is5grm per litre NAA it is used as a foliar spray or u can put it in the nutrient .Use in the veg stage before u start flowering...

The problem with hermies is when they stop to produce seeds they also stop putting energy into producing THC and buds. Just keep that in mind.
