You got lucky man. You should be happy you got off with only a small fine. I got a speeding ticket and lost my license for a year and ended up paying $600 in fines. I still have to pay $210 to get my license back. So over $800 in fines for speeding and no driving for a year. Plus I had to sell my Miata to pay bills. That ticket really fucked me because I worked at a pizza place so I lost my job also.

Just be honest with your parents about it. Plus they're going to find out anyway and they'll be happier in the end if you're honest.
