GOT A QUESTION ABOUT DXM

ok i went to my store and believe it or not every cough syrup has suttin other than dxm in it as active ingredients.. i cant find one with just DXM as an active.. Wut wuld happen if i took sum with other ingredients in it.. I read the drug name that begins wit an A is not good on high doses but its not in it.. Just like a drug wit a p and a drug wit a g in the begginnin i kno that doesnt help but culd i still take it?

well....no.

A=acetaminophen---not good for your liver in high doses
P=Psuedo-ephedrine--I know it's not good in high doses either,not sure if you can OD or not,but i know it sure would wreck a trip
G=guaniffsean-induces vomiting-which would ruin a trip

so only do syrup with just dex....read up on dicks sticky at the top of this page

Well, one time I took cough syrup with Psuedo-Ephedrine in it. It was the only time I've ever experienced an out of body experience with DXM. It was also only one bottle, 354 mgs.

Also, if guiniffsean only induces vomiting, that's not too bad. There have to be other effects of it for you to not use it. About an hour and a half to 2 hours into a trip, most people puke anyway. And as asoon as they do, they usually start trippin really hard.

well the nature of this chemical is to keep u from geting to the trip, the point of guiniffsean is to make u throw up B4 you can take in the DXM...doesn't work to well tho

Robotussin maximum strength cough. they come in 4 and 8 oz. bottles, take like 7 or 8 ouncez to trip nicely.

it be first time really for me so i weigh like 200 or so 6 foot.... i dun wanna go over board but just want mayb second plateu or so...

o and is it good to take dxm and smoke weed after?

To InfamousG, I weigh 230 and I'm, also, 6 foot and my first time I seriously tried DXM I did an entire 4 oz bottle of Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough. That's 354 MGs of DXM.

Now, a few things before you do it, make sure your stomach is empty. I can't really stress this enough. About my fourth time I had just got done with a cookout about 2 hours before I took the syrup. I had three hotdogs, and some chips and dip while stoned, right? Well...my high was wearing off, was gonna do the DXM and smoke more.
Wellllll....I drank the bottle and about an hour and 15 minutes after, I was laying on my bed taking deep breaths in and out and saying, "You're not gonna puke. You're okay. It'll pass." Fifteen minutes later, you could see me without a head....as it was in the toilot puking up everything from the hotdogs to my testicles. It.Wasn't.Cool. UGH, just thinking about it makes me want to puke again. And the fact that it came up in red chunks because the syrup went into the bread and it expanded. YIKES. Gotta stop talking about it.

I mean, a lot of people say you SHOULD puke after it starts hitting you to make you trip balls. I puked, and I didn't feel anything else except sick. I was shaking and my teeth were chattering so I just crawled into some bed and passed out while listening to Marley. It ruined my entire trip.

Another thing is, weed and DXM is very...very nice. Last night me and a friend smoked a few bowls while waiting for my DXM to kick in. I was stoned and it finally hit me. You just feel completely calm and happy, you might talk a lot (I did, ^_^). You feel completely in balance with the world, it's utterly beautiful.

Also, taking DXM is almost like clockwork for me. I'll take it, and almost exactly an hour and a half into it, it'll hit me. It lasts for 3-4 hours. If you guys want a VERY comfortable trip, do this. Take one four oz bottle, then about halfway through your trip (for me, a total of 3 hours after I take it) take another 4 oz bottle. I did this last night and I was F.U.B.A.R. It was just an amazing trip. The closed eye visuals were just....amazing. Can't describe it.

No dude your not supposed to try to puke, its just that its a great relief of nausea when you do puke, (if you were nauseous.) so after you do it tends to make the trip seem better. At least thats the way it was for me.
