i usaully smoke the shake first, then i smoke the nugs. Also i when i have only nugs i break off pieces from the bottom of the nug and work my way to the tip, the tip of the nug always seems so nice to smoke

But to answer the original question, I always smoke the buds first. I can't make myself start a new bag with the shake at the bottom. That's like opening up a bag of potato chips and reaching all the way down so you can eat the crumbs first.

I smoke nuggs first in joints, save big roaches clipping off the burnt carbon at the end.

Then I mix roachweed with any small shaky pieces of remaining bud fragments & smoke that.

I dont use screens so if I have shake I just sprinkle it on top of the nug, cause it's harder to smoke it alone without a screen.
