To me, it seems like when you smoke a nug (all in once piece, not broken up) you can see it die...

It's happy, all nice and happy sitting down in your bong, pipe ect...

Then you get the death bringer (lighter) and light up.

When you're smoking a nug you see it light up all redish, the whole thing's glowing... Then, then you notice it's dying down... it's fading... it's dying... You killed it... A poor nug...
