ive known people in the past ..that cloned like your talking about
the main purpose of clones are to start the growing process all over again
after you have used a root starter for your clone you shouldn't have any problems with growing because what you're doing is regrowing the same plant i don't know if the buds will live or die you may have to ask someone thats got more info then i do sweetie lol
