When to cut clones

Can you cut clones even if the plants are 3 weeks into flowering?

1. Can I do this?
2. Is it a good idea?
3. Do I put the clones back into a flower cycle?
4. What will happen to the small buds that would already be on the clones?

Please help me with this.

ive known people in the past ..that cloned like your talking about
the main purpose of clones are to start the growing process all over again
after you have used a root starter for your clone you shouldn't have any problems with growing because what you're doing is regrowing the same plant i don't know if the buds will live or die you may have to ask someone thats got more info then i do sweetie lol
