When to cut clones
Can you cut clones even if the plants are 3 weeks into flowering?
1. Can I do this?
2. Is it a good idea?
3. Do I put the clones back into a flower cycle?
4. What will happen to the small buds that would already be on the clones?
Please help me with this.
Thanks

after you have used a root starter for your clone you shouldn't have any problems with growing because what you're doing is regrowing the same plant i don't know if the buds will live or die you may have to ask someone thats got more info then i do sweetie lol

When to cut clones
Cmon, JRF....
You just do it.
Try it, let us know what happens and we'll all share in the wealth and knowledge...
I will even sacrifice a clone from CUNT to experiment with you.
Whatcha say?

When to cut clones
Your hearing from the right guy on this subject lol..........all I do is clone lol.....I have it down to a science both in veg and in flowering stage of taking cuttings(clones)
1. Can I do this?............... Yes you can! take clones in flowering cycle but it takes a much longer time to get the clones to root,if it takes 7 or 9 days in veg,may take up too 2 weeks or longer when cutting in flowering stage before they show roots, also depends on how far into the flowering .the further in the harder to root, but I still do it with minor difficulties's patients is the key! the only problem is seeing that your clones are sitting for a really long time waiting to root, you have alot more range for foil, green may completely leave ,mold can develop disease as well, you have to be alot more caring with flowering clones.....
2. Is it a good idea? .............why not! just more effort, more taking the lid off the dome, more spraying pritty much double the work compared to veg cuttings, but ya it's a good idea!...lol
3. Do I put the clones back into a flower cycle? .........well as you know your clones will need a 24 hour light cycle to stay strong and helps prevent wilting, but once they are rooted enough to hold their own water you can throw them right back into veg stage, until desirable size for flowering once again,or you can through them right into 12/12 cycle at just a few inch's high, good for sea of green, but if you want a full budded plant let her veg a few weeks before 12/12......
4. What will happen to the small buds that would already be on the clones? ..............Well you can kinda trim the buds down a bit if you like but not necessary!,make sure you leave enough leaves for breathing and light intake, the buds that are on the clone once put into cloning medium will eventually just kinda dry up and die! thats why I trim them a little, why not they are going to die any how,but trim the bud a little or not at all it's up to you, note:alot of the new growth from the clone will develop from the buds as well it's like branch's will grow once were the bud was...........
Note: when I said it is harder to clone from flowered plant, that is based on alot of strains but not all,I have a strain that roots well both in veg and flowering stage and both root around thew same time............I hope I helped.

When to cut clones
If you'r gonna clone a plant I would do it in the veg cycle cuz just like bruiser said, it is a lot more work to take one that even has buds on it already. Besides, the smart thing to do would be take a clone off a vegetation plant and if you want, flower that one clone and see if it's a female, if it is then take all the clones you want off the mother plant, if it isn't, well, you know what to do. Goodluck.

When to cut clones
Ok i am gonna do it with a flower from CUNT and WHORE.
But...
I cant do it till the 10th of July as I am leaving the country for a week of Mexican Herb Smokefest
My ho's will be 5 weeks into flower by then so it will be a test of my skills for sure.
I taught myself how to clone Bonzi trees and comb and trim the roots...
I figure I can do this too.
I will do when I get back.

When to cut clones
Ok,
I know the best time to clone is in the veg stage, but I really appricate your opinions and suggestions.
I went ahead and cut 2 cuttings tonight from 2 of my pretty ladies. I put them in the bubble cloner toingiht. They were 3 weeks into veg. I will get some pics of them up tomarrow and keep you posted on there progress.
Really I just wanted to try out my new bubble cloner I made. I have not had the greates success with cloning, so I built a bubble cloner and wanted to se how well it worked, plus keep this strain growing without going from seed! I really like the idea of no sexing and not having to worry about half your plants get thrown out because they end up being males.
Anyways I am just rambling at this point, (Stoned again....)
Thanks for the help, lets keep this thread going and keep me posted on your flowering clones!

Johnny if that air bubbler gives you trouble let me know. I'll hook show you how to make a good aero-cloner. Bubblers work but not as well as aero-cloners do. I run a 74-count aero-cloner myself and I use it all the time. A little B-1, a 3 part feeding formula 0.5-0.5-0.5 mix and a few drops of superthrive in RO water and you're good to go.
Yes I do use nutrients in a cloner.
