Appreciated, but I found it kinda funny . "STOP TALKING AND PICK UP A GUN YOU NAIVE YOUNGUN". I just wanna make music for f*cks sake .

What Torog doesn't get is that we're not all Texans living in our shacks, hugging our shotguns, waving our flags and loving our whisky. I try to humour him for who he is and like most people on this site, admire his perseverance and (despite a total absence of cultural tolerance/awareness) respect for certain values. If everyone gave THAT much of a shit about national security, we'd all be itching to leave home at 17 and join the army. Unfortunately for him and others that share that narrow-mindedness, not everyone wants to kill for a living, particularly in this day and age when our special forces, etc are only used for political gain and saving face.

Peace is the act of accepting one another and getting along, something we as humans are incapable of (but hey, kudos to those of us that do our best aye? ) Try not to let these fools get to you Blue Cat. The fact is every post you make demonstrates a keen and broad political mind and an acceptance and compassion for others and their personal views. Something a certain few on this board would get a migraine from trying.

I want to apologize for my attack on you yesterday,it was wrong and un-called for-I don't know what I was thinking..I reckon,that I wasn't..I'm sorry about that.

I would like to point out tho,I rarely drink whiskey anymore and I mostly drink beer,to keep my bowels regular and ease my back-pain and muscle spasms,even then..I don't drink very often.

As for folks joining at 17,I did and was glad of it,I think that all younguns should serve a couple years or so,in the military..it would help them understand,that they can't always take from their country,but that they should be citizen/soldiers..and give back to their communities and their nation,and to understand..that Freedom is not handed out on a silver platter..that it must quite often be defended .
