A while ago me and a buddy (live in austin, tx) found one of our friends knew where to get some dxm powder off the internet. They ordered it and in a week had it at their doorstep. joey and i bought 2g s. I had read about it a little but I dont know if anybody knows anything about "plateaus" you can experience in ur trip but ah.....

we got the stuff at about 8pm and went downtown to the arcade (le fun) and took it on the way there, we each ate a gram which we rolled up in paper towels and swallowed with some water. I wasnt really expecting very much from it, nothing more than a heavy buzz or a mild trip or something. We get to the arcade and we are playing some racing game and I start to feel light and tingly and itchy. Joey said he didnt feel anything.
A few games of guilty gear later and I was starting to feel slightly like i was drunk.
we walked out of the arcade, stuff kind of gets hazy after this point but ah, we decided to go walk around downtown and i started to get tunnel vision like u would when u really drunk, but i wasnt dizzy or sick at all, and i could carry on conversation perfectly fine, joey still said he felt nothing. then we sit down on some steps outside a coffee shop and joey pukes in the bushes, and i ask him if hes allright he said he started tripping.

so at this point it was midnight, and i decided we werent going home tonite so we had to find a place to stay (i had a friend who goes to college that lives in a college housing apartment building thing, i dont know what its fucking called) but we try to make our way to the building and up thru it.
walking felt like u were running in a nightmare, but super slow and heavy. we stumbled down the hallways walking reaaaaaaaaaalllly slowwww kinda like robots and got to coop's door.

he welcomed us in and joey immediatly hit the bean bag and began to stare off into space, motionless.
i was kind of scared so i tried to stay up and talk to coop about things and stay conscoius and shit. joeys eyes were extreeeemly red and he went to the bathroom to puke one or 2 more times, although i dont remember it, i know it happend, i never puked (yes that pertains to the story later).
i smoked a little bit and next thing i knew everyone was asleep and i was sitting at the window with a bong in my hand, my head was really light and dreamlike. this was the last normal thing that happend:

i sat in the other bean bag and i began to drift out of my body and into the top corner of the room, and looked down on myself, joey, coop, and his roomate, sleeping, i actively thought and moved this above perspective around to different points in the room that i desired, always looking down at the room tho, from the ceiling, i could watch myself sleep. everything was blue. i then began to feel like i was being shot into space, then i opened my eyes or something and i seen planets, stars, nebulae, plasma, all shooting past me like i was being shot thru space, i felt like i was moving at an extreme speed thru space. i then landed on this planet, thats was beautiful, the sky had 2 moons. i for some reason started panicking and i tried to wake myself as if i was dreaming because i was, well, on another fucking planet (in my mind i guess). but it wasnt working right away. for a bit i had to work and kind of bring myself back down, when i was fully back down everything in the room i was in was green as if there was a green light on everything. joey was sitting across from me in his bean bag tripping balls as well, i think he was awake too, neither of us were saying shit, both sitting in bean bags shooting thru space.

i relaxed again and just tried to go with it, i for some reason was fearing death at that point and seemed to be toying with it, that was really weird btw. my vision got black gradually and i began to sink, then all of a sudden in the center of this blackness (as if my eyes were closed) this green cube began to materialize and spin on axis, it was a wireframe cube like in 3d modelling. it began to rotate and spin very slowly, and multiply, every few seconds( minutes?) it would split off and make a few more cubes, eventually i had created this entire green wireframe pyramid, that looked to be a temple. i could see thru it because it was wireframe. i thought and said aloud
consciously in my head "what if i was to go inside and check it out" so all of a sudden my vision zooms up to the front door and the doors open and i walk in this temple, all the wireframe starts to materialize into matter. the floors are marble and there are big black columns going to these very high ceilings. i walk around and explore this temple for a while and then....well....thats all i can remember...........i hate to end it like that, but thats it, heheheh
me and joey talked about our different experiences and adventures we had in our minds the next day, after we puked for 6 hours. and we each had our own unique journey to some really far out place.
the craziest part was that we seemed to have shared hallucinations too, a few times i was seeing thru his eyes in the bathroom puking, of which (i never did puke), but i still have the memory of being bent over coop's toilet with that stupid fucking wallpaper.....of which...i was never there.

BTW, i didnt drink this in cough medicine, its pure DXM powdr, i read later that theres is apparently 4 plateaus u can reach of these higher states, the 4th plateau being out of body experiences and such. i read that a common thing among people who reach this plane of conscoiusness is out of body experiences and hallucinations of "alien abductions". i believe if used in meditaitons i guess could be for some type of transcendental enlightenment, i wouldnt recommend anybody every doing this more than once or twice for any reason like that but ah, i have to say it was certainly an interesting experience that i will never forget it.

sounds like u had a kickass trip....suprised u didnt puke cuz ur buddy was puking a storm. but i guess everyone is different. like my buddy didn't even puke after 2 8 ounce bottles to himself, but he was fuckeddddd up.

I have had similar visuals, like the out of body experience. But I didn't just take DXM I took Dxm & Diphenhydramine (around 700mg DXM & 900mg Diphenhydramine). I felt kind of like I was dying & my mind felt like it got shot into space by a rocket, I had visuals of stars, plantes, souls, other bizzare energys. Felt very natural and very spirtual. Something I find strange about this combo (or high doses of them on there own) is that I have had similar visuals to alot of people I talk to. Try to not find any meaning in your DXM trips because I don't think anyone can comprehend there meaning.

well if it's pure, then 1 gram = 1000 mg, i've only taken 300 mg, i bet that would be far out, 300 was wild enough for me

Yeah man a lot of drugs seem to cause OBE's. Also, just about anybody who's ever had a real high-dose trip seems to have had an OBE at some time or another. Shrooms and ecstasy especially tend to give you those psychic phenomena and "in someone else's head" feelings.

In other words, that's one crazy fucking trip. I don't think I could ever bring myself to take 1000mg, that shit's insane.

no wonder why it felt like you were dying....you probably WERE...if you would do your research about 1 of the 2 drugs youre taking youd know that 900mg of diphenhydramine is like 400mg past the lethal dose...not even to mention that you mixed it with DXM....you people need to be a bit more careful when you mix shit like that.

either that or youre just full of shit and didnt take near that much..but who knows.

I have mixed that combo around 20 times. I also weight 210 pounds which is proably why that would be a high dose to most people. That dose seems to be right on my limit though. Wouldn't ever go over the 1000gm mark.

Also I have done extensive research on BOTH drugs i'm not a stupid 16 year old that takes drugs to "get fucked up" I only take things like this maybe twice a year.
