I also like how he didn't mention anything on the WMDs which was our main reason for going to "Spread Democracy". I also like how said Timetables are dangerous. This comes from the same guy who called out Clinton, for him not having time tables for Kosovo. Hypocrits. IMO, as stated earlier on another thread, also by many political analysis the Iraqi situation could last well into a decade. If Bush told that to the American Public, his approval ratings would drop even lower. Not like it would matter.. From the first 10 or 15 minutes of that drivel that I actually listened to was absolute crap. Fighting for peace?? WTF First they said we went to Iraq because of WMD's. Whoops, none of those! Then they said, "Oh well, we needed to take down sadam anyway and find him"..... found him. Now there like "Oh well now we need to spread freedom...". COME ON PEOPLE!! The 911 terrorists were from Saudy Arabia. Osama Binladen is probably still in Afganistan. We attacked iraq based on a lie and now were over there lineing the pockets of corperate american contractors, like Halliburton, getting thousands of our own troops killed and hundreds of thousand of Iraqi citizens including women and children. Not to mention torturing hundreds of "enemy combatants" who have not had any sort of trial. All the meanwhile we are racking up an ENOURMOUS deficet. This whole war is bullshit, this administration is bullshit, and the media coverage of this administrations incompetence is bullshit. IMO we should dump some money into Iraq, let Iraqi contractors and employees rebuild and form a governmet, assist them diplomatically, and GET THE FUCK OUT!!!!!

Yeah I used to follow the political world very carefully, but all it ever did for me was get me into arguments and get me worked up over things I can't control.

That said though, I think it's been over twenty different individual reasons we've had for going to war in Iraq. Reminds me of a little kid who tries pounding every block he can find into the hole, until he either finds the one that fits or he breaks the toy.

the bush war on terror speech the guy is mad..why attack a country to counter terrorism else why did we not bomb Ireland into the sea.because it would not have done anything to curb terrorism as most of the active cells operate outside their own country terrorists are only found by deep cover ops and intelligence not bombs

I can't respect a man who kills innocent civilians, dehumanizes and insults them with the term "collateral damage", in the name of fighting "terrorism" (that is, killing innocent civilians as a means to a political end).
