What Do You Do About Marijuana Prohibition?

If I had extra money I would donate to NORML or MPP or something like that. I have helped my wife register with the state of oregon's medicinal marijuana program for pain associated with lupus. I've voted for californias proposition 215. I vote democratic and I attend hempfest in seattle whenever I can (which was last year and hopefully this year too). Anyone else who is involved, what else can or should we do.

Well, I try to educate people where possible that the government propaganda surrounding marijuana is not backed up by any scientific credible evidence, but I highly doubt any legalization or even significant lightening up on the drug laws is going to occur here in the US anytime soon. Certainly not before the rest of the world does. Probably not in my lifetime. I can only quote Emma Goldman in saying "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal."

I do very little. i talk about it, i donate small bits of money to various reform groups, and uhh... i smoke it.
