Ya you will drop out and in 20 years youll be broke and say "wow im a dumbass"

But if I get my GED and go to college or whatever later whats the big deal. School's just about the diploma right, and if I have that then I'm just the same as anyone who finishes.

what about a ged then a college degree....hey, i'm truly askin here, im thinkin two free years to work and party, then go to college and id be like any other graduate in my class. I mean does it really matter that you didnt actually graduate with your class.

why would a college take you seriously if you couldnt succed in regular school? they'll look at your previous grades? im not trying to be an asshole or anything but i would stay in school

It may sound good. Let's put it like this; let's you say get your GED and DO end up going to college. Chances are, you probably won't have any motivation whatsoever to do well in college, and probably end up getting kicked out. Now, I don't know what type of person you are, but this seems to be the case with many people who drop out of school. Most of them don't even end up getting their GED.

You can't get into a good college with a GED. You can attend a community college, and then transfer to a four-year school, but in my opinion, if you drop out of high school because you're not motivated, then there is almost no way in hell that you will have any motivation in college.

i droped out of high school my junior year and thought about getting my GED, bad idea. so im going back to school..........ged= Good enough diploma

its worth it to stay in school even thought its basically just a daycare for teenagers

i get up 4 work round 6am and have a cup o t and a jiont b4 i have a bowl off corn flakes and out the door, durin work id prob have 3-4 more jionts dependin on the day, most on my lunch. iv been doin this since i did my leavin exams in school 12 year ago and iv never had a problem, except for lack off self entusiasim but that can be beat by kickin urself in the ass [or get some1 else 2 do it]and gettin on with it, when it dos start 2 affect my work and shit ill chill out 2 the piont off smokin it when i finish work, more appreciated after a long days work a fat jiont that is.
