What kind of soil?

Hey everyone,
I've got some seeds I want to start growing. I have been reading as much as I can, but I still don't know what kind of pottingsoil I should be using. Oh, yeah, I don't know about fertilizers, either. What do y'all suggest? Thanks!

Any potting compost you like but bake it for half an hour or zap it in a microwave for eight minutes to steralise it. And you're sure to be given pages of advise on ferts but you can just buy tomato fert and read the label. It's really that simple.

i suggest Black & Gold, along with FOx Farm Ocean Mix, the ocean mix already has nutes in it, so u dont have to worry bout that. Combine these with rockwool cubes on the bottom of the pot for aeration, and theres your medium for growin. You will also need liquid nutes, to feed the plants after 2-3 weeks of growing. I suggest ALASKA FISH FERTILIZER, 100% organic and the plants love it. its also cheap and you can find it almost anywhere!

I would recommend using Soilless Soil, it's available at a variety of Hydroponics stores and sometimes it can be found at Gardening Centres; the best stuff comes in a Black Bag and it usually doesn't feel that heavy (Not to me, to others maybe) but it's very compacted and the soil is excellent for growing.

I use Soilless exclusively and my Silver Haze are amongst the best that most people have ever seen as far as size, yield and even THC Content; If you are using DnF or a similar formula make sure you are using the correct stages, even I made this mistake or it will cut your yield down big time.


If you can I would also avoid using cubes as now that I stopped using them I'm getting much better results overall.

Im nearing the end process of seed germination, and would like to eventually get these lil gals into the ground outdoors. In the 'in-between time' i would like to start them off right and not cause any stress when i do goto the outdoor location. Im thinking of some small bio-degradable pots one for each seed. If i use the previous mentioned ferts and nutes, will my plants shock when i take them outdoors after a few weeks? what are your suggestions about this transition for the most safe and stress-less move?

use 2 part's soil to 1 part perlite,that'll give air and moisture retention....bonbon

I use 3 part's pro mix to one part bat shit every third watering i use dutch grow nutriant. I am a nooby to indoor growing but this method seem's to produce nice bud's.
