Break it up with your hands, take out the stems, sticks, and/seeds if necessary, and your straight to roll anything...joint, blunt, spliff, etc. Grinding it up just seems like a waste of time to me.

the ONLY reason you want to grind it is if you plan to roll...if you pack a bowl with shredded weed you are going to burn half the bowl in one decent hit.....just to make things clear

i just use those tiny scissors(sp?) that come on cheapo depo pocket knives but i think a grinder would be way easier than doin it by hand

I used to always just pack it into the bowl without much thought. Like zigzag and mynameismike I haven't seen seeds in a long time Since I started to vaporize it though, I've been grinding it. Apparently this is a neccessity when vaping.

I just tear off a chunk of bud and stuff it into my pipe, it seems to burn alot slower and you get better hits. But dont do this if you know your weed has seeds in it cause nothing tastes worse than a burning hippie grenade. Only grind that shit up for rolling lefty's, otherwise, like already stated, your weed will burn fast.

grinding is the tits, but if you're out and you forgot your grinder it can be a real hassle. we were at a gig a couple of months ago, and we ran out of weed, but luckily a mate of a mate who deals a bit was there, so we got some from him, went outside and realised we didn't have a grinder, we asked soome guys standin outside if they had one, sure enough they did! lol, it was a reggae gig tho....

Even if my weed's sensi ((which most of the time it isn't. )) I still like it ground up. It does burn faster, but if you cap your bowl you seem to get a bigger hit and it definately burns more evenly. Plus, when I have alot of weed I don't even cap it and I'll fill my giant hookah bowl and I can smoke it til it's empty without having to relight. I've never been able to do this with just a bud not ground up.
