How come all the sifting and grinding

How come you have to sift/grind your weed? is it just to save the seeds and filter out things you dont need, or does it make the weed not work in anyway? i dont have a thing to grind my stuff so all i do now is seperate seeds and stems then crumble it up with my hands.

you break it up to get the seeds and stems (useless) out and to better pack the weed which = better burning but it sounds like you got the right i dea just break it up or use fine sisors to chop it up as much as possible

I'm old school, I do it by hand.

I just take a pinch of my bud and put in my bowl, my old hands can't take much cutting now days.

well here all i buy is sensi, so i just rip the bud off the stem and pack it tight, i think breaking it up makes it burn too fast and makes you cough and waste smoke, if its still compact i find it easier to control how much you burn

I agree, but thats only if its dry.

I have a few pairs of tiny ass scissors for cuttin up mine...

whoa... that reminds me of this time that i was chillin with my friend tommy packing a bowl and i was just tearing off nugs and stuffing them into the bong and he was like "dude... don't you wanna get the seeds out first?". i just sorta chuckled at him and i was like "man are you serious?". he sorta looked at me and then he was like "nevermind"

that was the day he started talking about the words scrolling down his walls star wars style
