    Man, I feel like such an asshole....

    unless your are trapping for thier pelts or for food or both you should probably try to just observe them from a distance in thier natural enviroment you can learn much more about a critter observing it in the woods doing it's normal routine there is not much to be learned about animal behavior when it is trapped in a cage sorry to here about louie

    Man, I feel like such an asshole....

    Damn man, it sucks when you accidentally kill something. But Jims right, about all you can learn from an animal in a cage is what a scared animal looks like, if you're just watching them it's easier to sit down with binoculars.

    You gotta think, the animals don't really enjoy being trapped even though they are not being harmed. They certainly aren't humping or eating (animals fave pastime) while they're in the cage. Perhaps if you gave them a tube of vasteline and some good amount of grub in there....

    That's really terrible about Louie... raccoons are so fun to watch in the wild...I like to sit a big bowl of water out with cherrios floating in it...

    then smoke some weed and watch the show...Its a riot!

    is it legal to have possums in a metropolitan area? My girl got 2 baby possums named miko and moonshine living in her apartment, i think miko died tho
